How "painful boils" develop
A "boil" is a skin disease characterized by "pus" and "swelling" caused by germs infecting a hair follicle, along with distressing "pain."
Step 1.
Germs enter a hair follicle and multiply.
Step 2.
A battle between immune cells and germs (an inflammatory reaction) begins, and the hair follicle becomes red and "swollen."
Step 3.
"Pus," made up of dead immune cells and germs, builds up steadily, resulting in a "pus-filled, swollen" state.
At this point, the "pus" and "swelling" press strongly on pain nerves, causing distressing pain.

To treat "painful boils," it is effective to address both the "pus" and the "swelling."
Odecure EX contains "sulfadiazine (an antibacterial agent)," which suppresses suppuration, and "diphenhydramine salicylate," which calms swelling. By helping the pus come out and the swelling go down, it thoroughly treats "painful boils."
For suppuration
Sulfadiazine suppresses suppuration through its antibacterial action.
For swelling
Diphenhydramine salicylate calms swelling.
[Care point 1.] Pus may drain out, so if this concerns you, we recommend covering the area with gauze or similar after applying.
[Care point 2.] To prevent the condition from worsening again due to reinfection by germs, continue using this medicine until the redness subsides, even after the pus is gone and the swelling and pain have eased.
[Care point 3.] Do not squeeze boils yourself. Damage to the affected area or reinfection by germs may make symptoms last longer or make marks more likely to remain.

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area several times a day, or spread it on gauze or similar and apply it to the area.

If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water.

(3) This medicine is for external use only. Do not take it internally.

Diphenhydramine salicylate – 0.8 g – Calms swelling.
This medicine does not contain any steroid ingredients

Contains the following additives: sodium edetate, octyldodecanol, carboxyvinyl polymer, stearyl alcohol, stearic acid, D-sorbitol, glyceryl triisooctanoate, phytosterol, propylene glycol, behenyl alcohol, behenic acid, glyceryl stearate, polyoxyethylene behenyl ether, macrogol stearate, lactic acid, and sodium L-lactate.


●Precautions for Storage and Handling
(1) Close tightly and store in a cool place with low humidity, away from direct sunlight.
(2) Store out of the reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container (this may cause misuse or change the quality).
(4) Do not use the product after the expiration date (year and month are shown on the case and tube). Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening to maintain quality.

If a child accidentally puts Odecure EX in their mouth
1. First, wipe out anything in the child's mouth.
2. Licking a small amount will have no effect. However, taking a large amount into the mouth may cause drowsiness.
3. Watch the child for about 1 hour, and if there is anything abnormal such as with breathing, have them seen by a doctor.
