Product Information

Antipruritic and anti-inflammatory agent
Thoroughly treats insect bites and itching caused by mites, fleas, caterpillars, centipedes, jellyfish, and more

An insect bite and itch relief medicine made by Muhi with a focus on effectiveness <liquid type>
●Harm from poisonous insects is increasing.
Recently, due to the effects of global warming, the pet boom, the development of parks in urban areas, and other factors, we have more chances of being stung or bitten by poisonous insects of kinds that were not previously found around us. In particular, stings or bites from poisonous insects such as mites, fleas, caterpillars, and centipedes, or from jellyfish, tend to cause intense itching and inflammation that conventional insect bite medicines cannot fully deal with.
●A formula combining "PVA + diphenhydramine hydrochloride" with a focus on effectiveness.
Liquid Muhi Alpha EX is a new type of liquid anti-itch medicine developed for insect bites like these. It is a formula focused on effectiveness, combining an antedrug-type anti-inflammatory ingredient that works well on inflammation (PVA: prednisolone valerate acetate) with an ingredient that quickly suppresses itching (diphenhydramine hydrochloride). It is effective not only for mosquito bites but also for insect bites and itching caused by mites, fleas, caterpillars, centipedes, jellyfish, and more.

PVA is a steroid ingredient classified in a high-efficacy rank among OTC drugs. It exerts an excellent anti-inflammatory action at the affected area and then changes into a low-activity substance. For this reason, it has the property of being less likely to cause the side effects characteristic of steroids. This property is called an "antedrug."
PVA is an ingredient with an excellent balance of efficacy and safety.

●Liquid Muhi Alpha EX is suitable not only for insect bites but also for treating eczema, dermatitis, and similar conditions.
●A strong, cool, refreshing sensation quickly calms itching.
With 2 cooling ingredients (l-menthol and dl-camphor) and the strong, cool, refreshing sensation unique to a liquid, it quickly calms itching.
●An applicator-tip type that is easy to apply without getting your hands dirty.
An easy-to-use container with an applicator tip that lets you apply it quickly at any time without getting your hands dirty.
Deviating from the specified dosage and administration of a medicine can lead to serious harm to health. Always read the product instructions carefully before use and follow the dosage and administration. Even when a medicine is used correctly according to the dosage and administration, side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, stop use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

[Other contents of the package insert] Common symptoms of stings and bites from poisonous insects, etc., and key points for care ☆Clean the affected area before applying.
☆If the area is red and the swelling is large, apply more often or cool it with ice or water.
☆Do not scratch the affected area. Scratching may worsen symptoms and leave marks.
It is important to deal with it early to suppress itching and inflammation.
Mites: In many cases, itching, swelling, and redness develop 1 to 2 days after the bite, and symptoms continue for several days.
Fleas: In many cases, itching, swelling, redness, and blisters develop several hours after the bite, and symptoms continue for several days.
Caterpillars: In many cases, itchy red bumps appear here and there on the skin immediately after contact, and the itching becomes stronger 1 to 2 days later. Fine stinging hairs may remain on the skin, so gently remove them using adhesive tape or similar before applying.
Centipedes: Intense pain occurs the moment you are bitten. In many cases, swelling and redness then continue for several days.
Jellyfish: In many cases, intense pain occurs along with linear welts and redness. Remove the tentacles before applying a generous amount. Note that the method of removing tentacles differs depending on the type of jellyfish, so take sufficient care.
☆A bee or wasp sting is accompanied by intense burning pain. If there are signs such as difficulty breathing, general fatigue, or nausea, call an ambulance or similar and receive medical treatment from a doctor as soon as possible.
☆If symptoms are extremely severe or the affected area is extensive, Liquid Muhi Alpha EX may not be able to handle it. In that case, see a doctor early.
