Beaulac A is a stimulant laxative that acts directly on the mucous membrane of the colon, promoting the peristaltic movement of the large intestine, and is a constipation medicine from which, when taken before bedtime, a gentle bowel movement can be expected the next morning.

Deviating from the specified dosage and administration of a medicine leads to serious harm to health. 1. The following persons should consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered salesclerk before taking this medicine.
(1) Persons receiving treatment from a doctor.
(2) Persons who are pregnant or who think they may be pregnant.
(3) Persons with the following symptoms.
Severe abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting
2. If any of the following symptoms appear after taking this medicine, they may be side effects. Stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered salesclerk, bringing this package insert with you.

3. The following symptoms may appear after taking this medicine. If these symptoms persist or worsen, stop taking it and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered salesclerk.
Diarrhea

4. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medicine for about 1 week, stop taking it and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered salesclerk, bringing this package insert with you.



●Indications
Constipation
Relief of the following symptoms associated with constipation: heavy-headedness, hot flashes, rough skin, pimples, loss of appetite (decreased appetite), abdominal bloating, abnormal intestinal fermentation, hemorrhoids



●Dosage and Administration
Take the following single dose before bedtime with water or warm water, without chewing.
However, use the minimum amount for the first dose, and gradually increase or decrease the amount while observing the condition of your bowel movements.
Age – Single Dose – Doses per Day
Adults (15 years of age or older) – 2 to 3 tablets – 1 time
11 to under 15 years of age – 1 to 2 tablets – 1 time
Children under 11 years of age – Do not take this medicine

<Precautions Concerning Dosage and Administration>
(1) Strictly follow the specified dosage and administration.
(2) This medicine is a strong-acting constipation medicine, so take sufficient care when taking it.
(3) When giving this medicine to a child, have the child take it under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.
(4) This medicine is an enteric-coated tablet, so take the tablets as they are without chewing, splitting or crushing them.
(5) Take on an empty stomach.
(6) Do not take within 1 hour after taking antacids or drinking milk.
(7) How to remove the tablets
Press the raised part of the PTP sheet containing the tablet firmly with your fingertip to break the aluminum foil on the back, then remove the tablet and take it. (If the sheet is accidentally swallowed as is, it may lead to unexpected accidents such as piercing the esophageal mucosa.)



●Ingredients and Amounts
Per daily dose (3 tablets)
Bisacodyl [2-(4,4'-diacetoxydiphenylmethyl)pyridine] – 15 mg

Contains as additives: lactose hydrate, cellulose, crospovidone, methacrylic acid copolymer S, methacrylic acid copolymer LD, sodium lauryl sulfate, polysorbate 80, hypromellose, triethyl citrate, talc, sucrose, acacia, titanium oxide, macrogol, povidone, carnauba wax, magnesium stearate, Red No. 3.

(1) Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) To avoid misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer to another container.
