◎Advice for faster relief of cough and phlegm
1 Getting sleep and not overexerting yourself is the first step in treatment. When going out, dress warmly and
take care not to let your body get cold.
2 Drink plenty of fluids. This loosens phlegm and eases coughing.
3 Keep the air in the room clean. Also, warm the room and, where possible, produce steam to
prevent the air from becoming dry.
4 Make a habit of gargling. This soothes throat discomfort and eases coughing and phlegm.
When going out, a mask is also effective.
